- Refresh Rate Configuration: ReShade 5.6.0 adds the global config option for “ForceDefaultRefreshRate" which allows users to configure the variable refresh rate.
- Add-ons Improvements: While the add-ons can be quite timesaving, there were issues with some plug-ins. However, this update introduces the error message overlay so that users can restart certain add-ons immediately.
- Improved VR Support: Global alpha support has been added in VR and overlay window resolution has been increased.
- Better Overlay Output: This update includes the option to show the stats overlays while the main overlay is open and running. Improving the overlay support has majorly improved the gameplay experience in multiple AAA titles.
- Bug Fixes: More than 20 bug fixes have been included in this version of ReShade. The fixes range from OpenGL support to better depth effect detection and many more.
